Biography

I am a full-time lecturer at The University of Wollongong. I received my PhD degree at RMIT in June, 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Zhifeng Bao and Prof. J. Shane Culpepper, and obtained my master degree at The University of Melbourne in 2017 and bachelor degree at Nanjing University in 2015. Principal Supervision: Several PhD and Master's research positions are currently open. If you are interested, please send your CV to my email.

Research Interests

I am passionate about tackling complex, real-world problems at the intersection of databases and artificial intelligence. My research focuses on managing diverse types of data (e.g., graph, relational, and trajectory data) by leveraging the synergy between traditional data management techniques and AI methods such as graph neural networks, large language models (LLMs), and representation learning. I am particularly committed to bridging the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that research outcomes can be effectively translated into industry applications.
