Biography

I am a lecturer at The University of Wollongong. I received my PhD degree at RMIT in June, 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Zhifeng Bao and Prof. J. Shane Culpepper, and obtained my master degree at The University of Melbourne in 2017 and bachelor degree at Nanjing University in 2015.

Research Interests

I am passionate about addressing complex but practical problems that lie at the intersection of optimization, data engineering, artificial intelligence, and theoretical computer science. My focus includes solving optimization problems with theoretical guarantees (e.g., influence maximization, clustering, path planning, and data selection), designing machine learning techniques for key data analysis tasks (like link prediction and node classification), and exploring the synergy between optimization and machine learning techniques (e.g., using combinatorial optimization algorithms to improve training data selection).
